Mr. Sigurd Andersen
Technology Coordinator
I have been working at Walden School starting soon after I moved to Vermont in 1998. In addition to keeping computers and the network functioning, I am now working directly with students to improve their technology skills.
I have a strong interest in systems - including the work of Buckminster Fuller, Stafford Beer, and John G. Bennett. I'm also interested in meditation and other human development disciplines.

Tim and I have lived in Walden since 1974. We have 2 children and 8 grand children. Working in Walden School for 20 years has been a wonderful experience. I have seen a tremendous amount of growth in education. I love my job and have watched former students grow into wonderful adults. I look forward to helping students become life long learners now and in the future.

Remedial Reading/Math Teacher
This year is my second year working as the Remedial Math & Reading teacher here at Walden. Walden School is a special place; I love working with both the students and staff. Supporting students in Math and Reading is a unique job that allows me to work with many different students with various abilities. I am excited to see our students grow and learn this year. |

I am new to Walden, though I have worked in schools and libraries for many years. When I don't have my nose in a book, I'm singing, doing art projects, working, or getting design ideas from HGTV. I live in South Woodbury, and my favorite place to visit is Google.
